Join the Richmond Symphony for a weekend of music and celebration as part of Richmond SailFest, the city’s kickoff to America’s 250th anniversary commemorations.On Saturday, June 13 from 6:30–8:00pm, the Richmond Symphony performs live at Dock Street Park along the James River. This free outdoor concert will feature patriotic favorites, American classics, and audience-friendly orchestral music as part of an unforgettable evening of entertainment leading into SailFest’s spectacular fireworks display over the river.Then on Sunday, June 14, experience a special SailFest edition of the Richmond Symphony’s annual Mile of Music. Musicians from across the orchestra will perform in a series of free pop-up performances throughout the festival grounds, filling Richmond’s riverfront with live music, surprise performances, and interactive musical moments for all ages.Come celebrate community, history, and the power of live music during this once-in-a-generation waterfront festival.
